Philosophy
I love to write and am a perfectionist when it comes to spelling, punctuation and grammar (both British and US English). At university I found myself torn between two passions: science and literature.
With translation I’ve found a way to marry these passions into a vocation.
There are few things I enjoy more than coming up with the perfect pun for a witty marketing text or tracking down JUST THE RIGHT TERM – considering the context, subject area and audience/reader – for a highly technical scientific text.
I am not satisfied until the translation looks and sounds like an original English text written by an expert in the field.
